About Daniel Flynn

In 2008 Daniel Flynn pulled together a group of friends and together turned an idea to launch a line of bottled water that would fund water projects overseas into a reality. At that time, over 900 million people didn't have access to safe drinking water on a daily basis.

The idea was to take a more holistic approach to combating poverty, by committing 100% of their profits to fund safe water, food and hygiene and sanitation services around the world. Ten years later, Flynn has battled all odds to form a business, alongside wife Justine and best mate Jarryd Burns, that does just that.

Thankyou has now given approximately $5.8 million and empowered 785,000 through social enterprise.

In 2012 Daniel was named Victorian Young Australian of the Year.

In July 2013 they rebranded as Thankyou, complete with two new ranges: food and body care and today, Thankyou has over 50 products available in 5500 outlets in Australia (including Foodland, 7 Eleven, Coles and Woolworths).
